Keep the manuscript editable and export it for the selected publishing format.
BoundHive connects headings, sections, trim, bleed, margins, images, and final page count to the files delivered in the project export.
What does BoundHive actually do?
BoundHive stores manuscript sections as editable structured content, sanitizes them, and produces DOCX, EPUB, and PDF review or print files as appropriate. Print layout uses the selected trim and current margin rules; validation reports unresolved file and asset issues.
What you get
Editable structured chapters with saved revisions
DOCX manuscript
EPUB package with navigation and embedded project images
Print interior PDF sized for the selected trim and bleed choice
How it works in the product
Choose format before layout
An eBook reflows; a print book has a fixed trim, margins, and final page count.
Edit structured sections
Headings and sections remain independently reviewable instead of being flattened early.
Resolve image slots
Generated or uploaded images belong to explicit manuscript positions with alt text and captions.
Validate and export
The package includes the files plus the rules version and remaining findings.
What this does not guarantee
- Automated layout cannot replace visual inspection of every page.
- Complex tables, equations, footnotes, or typography may need specialist desktop-publishing work.
- Amazon can reject issues outside the checks named in the report.
