What BoundHive provides

BoundHive is AI-assisted publishing software for planning, drafting, editing, illustrating, validating, and packaging books for submission through a user’s own Amazon KDP account. BoundHive is independent from Amazon and is not endorsed by Amazon.

“KDP-ready” and similar wording mean that a project was checked against the BoundHive ruleset identified in its validation report. They do not promise Amazon acceptance, search visibility, royalties, sales, ranking, or legal compliance.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter this agreement in your location. You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding login credentials, and activity performed through your account. Tell support@boundhive.com promptly if you believe an account has been accessed without permission.

Do not share passwords or bypass plan, credit, access, safety, or technical limits. Google sign-in is also subject to Google’s applicable terms.

Your content and projects

You retain whatever rights you lawfully hold in content you submit. You grant BoundHive the limited permission needed to host, process, transform, validate, and export that content to provide the requested service. This permission ends when the content is deleted, except for backups, security records, legal retention, and provider processing already in progress.

You are responsible for reviewing generated text and images, checking facts, securing rights and permissions, avoiding infringement, and answering Amazon disclosure questions truthfully. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, similar to other output, or ineligible for copyright protection in some jurisdictions.

Acceptable use

The Acceptable Use Policy is part of these Terms and applies to every account, project, upload, and AI text or image request. You may not use BoundHive to generate NSFW, pornographic, sexually explicit, or sexually suggestive content, or any content that exploits or sexualizes minors.

You also may not use BoundHive to create, upload, or distribute unlawful content; infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; impersonate another person; distribute malware; deceive readers or platforms; evade Amazon, BoundHive, or provider safety and content policies; probe or disrupt the service; scrape private data; resell access without permission; or generate abusive volumes through automation.

BoundHive may decline a generation request, pause a job, restrict or suspend access, remove material, or preserve evidence when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, the service, or legal compliance. Report suspected violations to support@boundhive.com.

AI-assisted features

AI features are production aids, not professional legal, tax, financial, medical, or publishing advice. You control the brief, review output, choose revisions, approve files, and make the final publication decision. AI requests pass through safety systems operated by BoundHive and its providers and may be declined; the AI Policy and the Acceptable Use Policy explain these limits and your responsibilities in more detail.

Credits and generation

Credits are a service unit used for eligible text and image generation. The interface shows the credit price of a request before it starts. A job reserves that amount while running and settles no more than it showed; credits for work that was not delivered are released. Manual editing, reviewing saved projects, uploading your own images, and exporting without new generation do not use credits. Credits are not money, do not earn interest, and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash unless applicable law requires otherwise.

The credits included with a paid plan are granted for each paid billing period and expire when that period ends; they do not carry over. Canceling renewal does not remove paid access or the credits of the current period before it ends. When credits are exhausted, new generation requests wait for the next period; existing projects remain available for editing and export.

Provider outages, safety checks, an incomplete brief, or insufficient credits may pause or decline generation. An image request declined by a content safety check is not started, and the credits reserved for that image are returned. Completed sections remain part of the project when the workflow supports resuming.

Plans, checkout, and renewal

Paid subscriptions are processed by Creem. The checkout shows the selected product, billing interval, price, taxes where applicable, and renewal terms before payment. A subscription renews automatically at the displayed interval until cancelled.

You can manage billing through the account page and the Creem customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewal and normally leaves paid access available through the current period end shown in your account. Deleting a project does not cancel a subscription.

Plan changes, failed payments, and refund requests

Plan changes, proration, payment retries, and effective dates follow the terms displayed by Creem and reflected in BoundHive after verified provider events. Access may be limited when payment expires, is reversed, or remains unpaid.

For a billing error or refund request, contact support@boundhive.com with the transaction identifier. Requests are reviewed under the checkout terms and applicable law. These Terms do not remove mandatory consumer rights.

Files, validation, and third-party platforms

You must inspect exported manuscripts, covers, metadata, and reports before submission. Amazon can change specifications and makes its own acceptance decisions. BoundHive is not responsible for actions taken by Amazon, Google, Creem, Resend, an AI provider, or another third-party service.

Availability and changes

We work to keep BoundHive available, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Features, models, rules, limits, and supported formats may change to improve the product, respond to provider changes, or protect safety. Material changes will be explained through the product, changelog, email, or an updated effective date where appropriate.

Suspension, cancellation, and deletion

You may stop using BoundHive and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, fraud, unlawful use, security risk, nonpayment, or conduct that threatens the service. When reasonably possible, we will provide notice and a chance to export lawful content before permanent closure.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BoundHive is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant a specific publishing, commercial, ranking, legal, or creative outcome. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, BoundHive is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or decisions made from unreviewed AI output. Any applicable limitation will be interpreted consistently with mandatory local rights.

General terms

If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without consent; BoundHive may transfer it as part of a legitimate reorganization or service transfer, subject to applicable law and privacy obligations. Applicable mandatory law and competent courts are determined by the circumstances; these Terms do not invent a corporate domicile or remove rights you have where you live.
