ABOUT BOUNDHIVE

Publishing decisions should be clear before they become expensive.

BoundHive is a guided workspace for planning, drafting, reviewing, validating, and packaging books for Amazon KDP.

BoundHive is independent from Amazon and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon.

WHY BOUNDHIVE EXISTS

A book should not become harder to understand as it moves closer to publication.

Independent authors often have to move between writing tools, spreadsheets, design apps, and changing publishing documentation. Each handoff can separate an early decision from the file it eventually affects.

BoundHive keeps the decisions that shape a book, including format, trim size, audience, structure, metadata, illustrations, validation, and exports, inside one saved project.

The goal is not to publish more words at any cost. It is to help an author make deliberate choices, inspect what the software created, change it, and understand what still needs human review.
ONE WORKSPACE, FOUR USEFUL STAGES

The project follows the decisions that shape the finished book.

Each stage keeps its inputs visible and its output editable before the next stage begins.

01

Define the book

Choose the reader, purpose, format, trim size, interior type, and approximate scope before generation starts.

02

Build and edit

Turn the brief into an editable outline, manuscript, metadata, illustration slots, and cover direction.

03

Review and validate

Inspect the content and run named technical checks against the KDP rules version recorded in the report.

04

Package the handoff

Keep the final manuscript, cover assets, publication metadata, and validation report together for submission.

CLEAR RESPONSIBILITY

Software can check a package. Only the author can approve the work.

A validation result describes the checks BoundHive performed. It is not Amazon approval, legal advice, or a promise of sales.

BoundHive helps you

  • Keep publishing decisions connected to the project
  • Generate editable text and visual directions
  • Record the rules version used for technical checks
  • Package the files and fields needed for handoff

The author still decides

  • Whether facts, claims, and quotations are correct
  • Whether rights and disclosure choices are complete
  • Whether the interior, cover, and metadata are final
  • Whether and when to submit the book to Amazon
HOW WE THINK ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Clarity is part of the publishing workflow.

01

Clear before costly

Show the connected publishing decision before time, generation credits, or finished layout depends on it.

02

Editable before final

Generated text, images, metadata, and project choices remain open to review instead of becoming silent final output.

03

Versioned before claimed

Technical validation identifies the rules version it used and stays separate from Amazon’s final review.
