What a credit pays for, and what it never pays for.
Credits are BoundHive's unit for AI generation capacity. They are not money and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- What uses credits
- Generating a book plan, drafting manuscript sections, generating illustrations, cover artwork, and A+ content. Regenerating something you asked BoundHive to create again is a new request and uses credits again.
- What never uses credits
- Editing text yourself, opening and reviewing saved projects, uploading your own images, running the package checks, and exporting files without new generation.
- Price before you start
- Book Studio shows the credit cost of every generation request before it runs. Prices depend on the amount of work: the length of a section, the size of the book, and the number of images.
- Unfinished work is not charged
- Credits are reserved when a request starts and settled when it completes. If a request fails or an image is declined before it is generated, the credits for that unfinished part are released. Completed parts of a complete-book run stay paid, and every drafted section stays saved.
- When credits arrive
- 1,000 credits for Plus and 2,500 credits for Double Plus are added when a monthly billing period is paid. Credits from the previous period do not carry over; the new period starts with its own allowance.
- Zero balance
- When your credits run out, new generation requests wait until the next billing period. Everything already created stays open for editing and export.
- Canceling and taxes
- Cancel renewal any time from your account. Paid access and the credits of the current period remain available until the period ends. Prices are in USD; taxes are added at checkout where they apply.
