BoundHive Cookie Settings and Policy
This page explains browser storage used by BoundHive. It does not claim that advertising or social tracking exists when the product does not use it.
What storage is essential?
BoundHive uses a secure, HTTP-only session cookie to keep a signed-in account authenticated. The browser may also store interface and consent choices needed to remember settings. Disabling essential storage can prevent login, account security, saved preferences, and private Book Studio routes from working.
What is optional?
Optional analytics measures public-page and product-funnel events so BoundHive can understand failures and improve workflows. Analytics must not include passwords, payment-card data, private manuscript text, book prompts, or other intentional PII fields. Optional analytics is loaded only after the applicable consent choice.
Does BoundHive use advertising cookies?
BoundHive does not currently describe or enable an advertising-cookie category. If advertising technology is introduced, this page and the consent interface must be updated before that category is used.
Can third parties set storage?
Google may set its own storage when you intentionally use Google sign-in. Creem uses its checkout and customer-portal environment when you intentionally open billing. Those pages operate under the provider’s policies. Resend delivers email and does not need a public-site advertising cookie from BoundHive.
How do I change my choice?
The BoundHive consent control will let you accept or reject optional analytics and reopen that choice later. Browser controls can also remove or block storage, but removing the session cookie signs the account out. Until optional analytics is configured and consented, only essential behavior should run.

How long is storage kept?
The BoundHive login session is configured for up to 30 days unless you log out, reset the password, clear browser data, or the session is invalidated. Consent and interface choices remain until changed, cleared, or their configured retention expires. Provider storage follows the provider’s documented retention.
