BoundHive Help
Use these checkpoints before generation, during editing, and before export. Open the FAQ for direct answers about saved projects, interrupted generation, validation, and credits.
Before you generate
Choose the intended reader, book purpose, format, trim size, interior type, and approximate length. You can revise these choices, but changing print dimensions after layout may require a new export.
While you edit
Treat generated text as a draft. Check facts, quotations, permissions, continuity, and whether every chapter serves the brief. Illustration placeholders stay attached to their manuscript position until you replace or remove them.
Before you export
Resolve validation warnings, preview the complete interior, inspect the cover at its final dimensions, and compare listing metadata with the finished manuscript. Keep the validation report with the exported files.
Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know.
Where are my saved books?
Every saved project appears on your bookshelf. Open a project to continue editing, review earlier output, or create a new export.
Can I change the format after generation?
Yes, but a change to trim size, bleed, paper, ink, or binding can alter page layout and cover dimensions. BoundHive asks you to validate and export the project again.
Why did generation stop?
Generation can pause when the brief is incomplete, a safety check fails, the account has insufficient credits, or a provider is temporarily unavailable. The project keeps completed output so you can resume without starting over.
Does a passing validation guarantee KDP approval?
No. It means BoundHive found no issue in the rules its validator checked. Amazon performs its own review, and the author remains responsible for the submitted content and files.
Where can I see credit usage?
The account billing area shows credits granted, used, reserved, or returned for each generation job.
